Entering its 5th year the Ford Ironman Arizona has quickly become a top-rated event as some of the world's best Ironman tri-athletes converge on Tempe. The transition area, swim course and expo are all very close together, and thanks to the three-loop bike and run courses, race day viewing is nothing short of spectacular.
Endurance Sports Travel will look after you in Tempe with a complete ground services package designed to make your Ironman experience enjoyable, successful and memorable.
Tempe Town Lake looks more like a river than a lake. It's relatively narrow, but is ready-made for a triathlon swim - spectators can follow the entire swim race by simply walking along the shore.
The three-loop bike course is surprisingly challenging thanks to the many rollers on the course that goes through the city of Tempe and in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community located Northeast of the city.
The run course here at Ironman Arizona is the highlight of the day for the competitors. A lot of the marathon runs alongside Tempe Town Lake. This has more-than-a-few upsides: the course is very spectator friendly, is cooler because of the proximity to the water, and is also quite scenic.

Included in the package is the services of a mechanic but we ask that you unpack your bike and loosely assemble which means putting the wheels on, hand tighten the pedals, and bars. The mechanic will then tighten everything and make all needed adjustments to the gears and brakes. If you prefer to just hand your bike case to the mechanic he will unpack and completely assemble your bike for $50. If after the race you want the mechanic to disassemble and pack your bike this can also be done for a $50 charge
