On March 14, 2010 Ironman racing will return to Haikou, China which has proven itself to be one of the most exciting venues for an Ironman race. In addition to the full Ironman there will also be an Ironman 70.3 race on the same day. Endurance Sports Travel has been selected as the Official Worldwide Tour Operator for Ironman China. We are proud of this distinction and will use all our experience to put together a complete travel package that will make the trip go smoothly at a price that will be similar to what one would pay if they did all the work themselves. With Endurance Sports Travel you will have professionals looking after all your needs including transportation, mechanical services, accommodations, course tours, help with translation, logistics, and local day trips. The events will take place on Hainan Island which is a vacation and triathlon gem set in the South China Sea. The Southern part of Hainan Island features pristine blue waters teeming with reef fish and unspoiled white-sand beaches set against a lush tropical background, Hainan is the Hawaii of China. Hainan is a rapidly developing international destination with world-class facilities, including five-star resort hotels such as the Crown Spa Resort which is the largest resort in China.

Crown Spa Resort Hainan
The Crown Spa Resort is the Official Hotel of Ironman China. The facilities, rooms, restaurants and service quality are second to none. The Crown Spa Resort is a 5 star hotel and China's largest resort. All race functions will take place here including Athlete registration, Athlete Briefings, Press Conference, Ironman Expo, Welcome Dinner, VIP Reception and the Ironman China race office. Not only is the Crown Spa Resort the Official Hotel for Ironman China, it will also be the central hotel for the Endurance Sports Travel group and we will have our staff located in the hotel to serve you throughout your stay. Guest rooms are spacious and stylishly designed with your utmost comfort in mind. High Speed Internet Access is available in all guest rooms or you can surf the Internet while relaxing by the pool with wireless Internet access. An array of culinary choices are available at the 6 restaurants. Take advantage of the recreational options, including water sports, health club, beauty salon, pool, Game room, private beach and a 5 star spa. The resort also has access to an 18 hole golf course.

Air Travel
Roundtrip airfare can be arranged through China Information Travel Services (CITS) who book thousands of tickets to China each year. Contact: Jean Wei at CITS in Los Angeles (email: jeanwei18@hotmail.com or phone:626-568-8993). EST is happy to work with you to plan these arrangements. You can either seek our assistance or do the air ticket yourself online. If you would like our assistance please just email or call the office. There are 2 airports on the island of Hainan so please be sure to book travel into Haikou.
If you are doing the after race tour, that will end in Beijing so your flight out of China will need to match up with the end of the tour which will be the Monday one week after the race. You will want an international ticket to and from Beijing and then a one way ticket to Haikou.
If you just want to go to Haikou for the race and then return home then you just want a round trip to Haikou. It may be less expensive to buy 2 round trip tickets getting the international round trip into either Shanghai or Beijing and then getting a separate round trip from there to Haikou. Our ticketing agent can help yo with these decisions.
Auto
You will not need a car in Haikou as we provide the airport transfers as well as daily transport from the resort into town, course tours and race day transport.

You will also need at least 2 blank Visa pages in your passport, a passport style photo and the paperwork filed out. We offer an amazing 7 day/6 night, 3 city tour after the race that departs Haikou on Tuesday morning and is a fantastic way to see some of the major sights of China.
Three flights, all meals, 4-star accommodation, all ground transport, guides and entry fees for all tours are included as well as the shipping of your bike from Haikou to Beijing to meet you at the end of the tour.

March 16: Take plane from Haikou, arrive at Xi'an, transfer to hotel，after lunch, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dancing dinner show;
March 17: Morning call, after breakfast visit The Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Huaqing Pool. Visit the Ming-Dynasty wall;
March 18: Morning call, have breakfast, after lunch, take the plane to Shanghai; visit Jade Buddhism Temple , then sightseeing the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Bound.
March 19: Morning call, have breakfast, bus to Suzhou in the morning, visit Humble Administrator's Garden, Master of Nets Garden, visit Venice of the East-Zhouzhuang, then drive back to Shanghai;
March 20: Morning call, have breakfast, after lunch, fly to Beijing. Visit the largest city center square in the world - Tiananmen Square, The magnificent imperial palace - Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, a place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped Heaven and their ancestors;
March 21: In the morning after breakfast, a full day excursion takes you to the Great Wall Juyongguan - one of the 7 wonders of the world. After lunch, visit the beautiful Summer Palace - the largest imperial garden built in the Qing dynasty. Hand made Jade factory;
March 22: Morning call, have an end to our journey. Fly back to your country.
