The St. Croix Ironman 70.3 is one of the premier destination triathlons in the World! It combines the beauty of the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands with the challenge of an unforgettable course. The crowning feature of this race is the legendary climb on the bike course which is appropriately named 'The Beast'. Once you've conquered The Beast, you'll never look at a hill the same way.

King Christian Hotel
The King Christian Hotel has been a center of trade and commerce for over 200 years. Originally used as a warehouse, the building has been a barracks for the Danish Gendarmes, headquarters for the Harbor Masters, and a haven for Sea Captains and other visiting sailors. As you look out over the balcony or out the window from your room, other historic buildings surround you. They comprise the Christiansted National Historic District. Outside the door of the King Christian Hotel is the Christiansted National Historic Site, one of three National Park Service properties on St. Croix. All rooms have bright, tropical decor with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, Cable TV, computer-compatible phones, coffee maker, refrigerator, and a safe. Adjoining rooms are available on request.

For this race we do a ground only package so please feel free to go online and arrange a flight that is best for you with regards to dates, flight itinerary and price. Once you have arranged your Air Travel please email us with your itinerary so we can arrange your ground transfers.
Auto
Transportation between hotel and airport is included in the ground package. Therefore, you should not need a rental car. However, if you desire, we can arrange for an auto rental for you.
Visa
Citizens of many countries do not need a Visa to enter St. Croix. However it is best to check with the U.S State Department's website for information specific to your country.
Citizens of the United States do not need a passport or visa to visit St. Croix. Travelers to the island are required to carry a photo ID, which can be a U.S. drivers license. It is strongly recommended, due to recent events in travel, that you have this easily accessible at all times. Not only will it prove your citizenship, but will verify your identity and make traveling hassle-free.

There will be a bike shop set up at the Hot Corner Merchandise Store. To reserve a bike rental for the race, call 340-773-8456. Please mention that you were directed to them from Endurance Sports Travel.
