IRONMAN Arizona has quickly become a top-rated event as some of the world's best IRONMAN triathletes converge on Tempe. The transition area, swim course and expo are all very close together, and thanks to the three-loop bike and run courses, race day viewing is nothing short of spectacular.

We will be providing hotel accommodations, race entry slots and our travel packages to anyone who will be traveling to this event.

> Bike Assemble & Bike Pack = $100

Included in the package is the services of a professional mechanic. The mechanic will then tighten everything and make all necessary adjustments to the gears/brakes. If you prefer to just hand your bike case to the mechanic upon arrival he will unpack and completely assemble your bike and then after the race the mechanic will disassemble and pack your bike for your departure.

Air Travel

For this race we do a ground only package so please feel free to go online and arrange a flight that is best for you with regards to dates, flight itinerary and price. Once you do have your airfare arranged please email us your itinerary so we can properly arrange your transfers. Round trip airport transfers are only available from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

While in Tempe you will not need to rent a car as we will provide airport transfers and local transportation. We will do course tours of both the bike and run for those that want to see the courses.

Citizens of many countries do not need a Visa to enter the US. However it is best to check with the U.S State Department's website for information specific to your country.





 

While we do not have any prearranged day trips in or around Tempe, we have a number of suggestions that we would be happy to share with you. If you need any help with your preparation and planning we are glad to assist in any way we can.

There are a ton of activities to do before and after the IRONMAN, so if you are looking to bring the family here is a great list of things to do with your kids.

Scottsdale welcomes families with a host of activities that will keep pint-size travelers entertained morning, noon and night. Here, in no particular order, are 10 of our favorite kid-friendly hotspots to get you started:


Sonoran Explorin'

Jeep and Hummer tours, guided hikes, horseback rides, river floats and hot-air balloon flights are just some of the ways to explore Scottsdale's amazing Sonoran Desert. The Bajada Nature Trail at the Gateway to Scottsdale's McDowell Sonoran Preserve is ideal for families with small children.

Makin' Music

At the Musical Instrument Museum, discover unique instruments and music from every country around the world. Plus, kids of all ages will enjoy making music in the hands-on Experience Gallery.

Garden Trails

Explore the unusual cacti and plants of the Sonoran Desert up-close at the Desert Botanical Garden. Seasonal events include the Butterfly Pavilion (fall and spring) and evening flashlight tours (summer).

Wild Ones

The Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 1,300 animals, including 200 endangered species. Daily activities include the Safari Train, Monkey Village, Giraffe Encounters, Wild About Animals Show and a petting zoo.

Native Culture

Hands-on exhibits at the Heard Museum help kids explore the Native American cultures of North America. You'll see colorful Hopi katsina dolls, learn about desert critters at the Southwest Puzzle Pole, and explore a Navajo hogan.

Cowboy Style

Saddle-up, pardner! MacDonald's Ranch offers a petting zoo, horseback and stagecoach rides in the Sonoran Desert, and free pony rides for cowpokes under 5 years old.

Sweet Treats

For more than 50 years, the Sugar Bowl a 1950s-style soda fountain has been serving frosty ice cream treats, such as Dusty Road Sundaes and Gosh-Awful-Gooey Banana Splits.

All Aboard!

Ride the Paradise and Pacific Railroad along a one-mile track at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, which also offers carousel rides, train exhibits, playgrounds and the Snackstop Caboose.

Headin' West

Rawhide 1880s Western Town boasts cowboy stuntmen at the Six Gun Theater, burro and stagecoach rides, the 'Deadman's Drop' rock climbing wall, a desert train ride and the Rawhide Steakhouse.

Going Vertical

Arizona's largest indoor climbing gym, AZ on the Rocks boasts walls up to 30 feet high along with the equipment and instruction needed for everyone from the experienced climber to the novice.
